Spring on wobblers

Spring fishing has always been famous for its diversity and fascination. And here more often preference is given to bottom gear, including the English donka - feeder. Springtime is the course of fish to spawn. Therefore, fishing for donkeys is considered successful, because at this time you can catch the largest specimen of roach, and other fish. But not only donors reign on the river. Spinningists also have something to do at this time. Not bad specimens of predators are caught at times. Only in spinning in the spring season is shorter. It lasts until the spring fishing ban. But they also manage to catch their fish, choosing the right bait. And such a successful bait can become a wobbler.

Fishing conditions and choice of place

Catching predators in the spring requires careful selection of a place. The fish is still moody. And especially such capricious inhabitants of the river depths include silver predators - ide, chub and asp. In addition to their violent behavior on the hook, these fish often prefer not quiet deep whirlpools with spinning funnels on the water, but difficult places where rapid currents occur. Often such places are fast jagged jets of water behind some kind of obstacle - bushes, trees falling into the water, and also behind bridges, where the piles form the very obstacles from which the jagged jets of water also come off.

Another promising place is the drop from the current to the coastal calm. At the border of calm water and fast water, silver predators also like to stay. The ide, chub and asp are most successfully caught in rough weather, that is, when the expanse of water is twitched by ripples from a small wind. But these fishes obviously will not like the real wave, especially if the wave is raised by a real bad weather.

Fishing rod

To catch these gambling and fast-moving predators, you need a light twitching rod made of carbon fiber with a quick build. But at the same time, the rod should have sufficient sensitivity. Its length should not exceed two and a half meters. Usually these are light rods with a spaced handle and test results ranging from 5-25 .

To equip the rod, a small inertialess reel is used, on the spool of which a braided cord is wound. In conditions of rapid spring current, a cord is preferable, since the fishing line is not able to resist the pressure of water and stretches. Although many people like fishing line more. Apparently, the fact is that the conditions are not the same everywhere, and the strength of the habit is great if you adapt to catching with fishing line.

Bait selection

As with other predators, wobblers for catching ide, chub and asp can be of various classes: those located in the water column (suspenders), as well as floating and sinking baits. But the main requirement for them is shape, size and, to some extent, color.

As for the form, these are minnows, that is, elongated baits.

The size of the wobbler should not exceed eight centimeters. And silver is desirable, although not fakely bright.

Another important factor when choosing a bait is its ability to cast far. These cautious predators will not take close to the angler under any circumstances. Therefore, baits equipped with a magnetic loading system are preferable. Often, predators take better on baits that can move under the very surface of the water. Here, predator bites occur both during the movement of the bait and on pause.

The alloy method is also successfully used, when the wobbler moves a considerable distance from the fisherman and then comes back, obeying the reel winding. Often, even during rafting, attacks of predators occur. Therefore, dropping a wobbler downstream should not be passive. Often success can bring light pulls with the tip of the rod, as with twitching. Rafting can be carried out not only from a boat, but also from a promontory protruding towards the water.

During bad weather it is not necessary to give up fishing. There are bladeless wobblers that are capable of step wiring at the bottom. And then attacks of underwater predators can also happen. Indeed, in silence at the bottom, when thunder is thundering above and there is a wave roll, predators are protected from the weather, but they have not lost predatory instincts.
