What options donkeys use for catching zander. Where are they put. How to plant live bait. An unpleasant feature of the donkey.
Despite the apparent absurdity, catching pike perch on the Donka is quite successful, however, the fishing spots are located mainly in the Volga channels, both in the delta of this river and in the middle reaches. But everywhere the places of fishing are wellhead branches, which usually abound with narrow and deep channels over the course, where zander sometimes masses.
Pike perch on a donkey donkey
Sometimes a predator stands literally under the shore, especially if the shore is steep and there is a hole under it. Therefore, in such places, an ordinary donkey donor is enough, which is thrown by hand.
Such a bottom is a reel on which the main fishing line is placed up to 50 m long and 0.4-0.5 mm thick .
The sinker is usually placed flat, weighing up to 100 grams . If the flow under the cliff is rapid, then the weight of the sinker reaches 200 grams .
The leash in the places where zander is concentrated is not metal, which zander often avoids, but from ordinary monofilament fishing line or from fluorocarbon. A fluorocarbon leash is preferred. But it must be borne in mind that this fishing line is weaker under load than monofilament fishing line and especially feeder. Therefore, fluorocarbon should be placed on a leash no thinner than 0.4 mm in diameter .
Hooks can be used double, No. 7-8 of domestic numbering .
As a bait, small chasing fish are used, which the pike perch usually prefers for undergrowths, hustlers and other fish with a relatively wide body. The most attractive bait fish for pike perch is bleak and verkhovka, but these fish are very tender and weak. They do not stand long on the hook. But this does not always affect the number of bites. If the pike perch is active, the fish is fresh, then the predator does not disdain the snoot fish.
True, for successful fishing for wild fish or even chopped bleak or tyulka, a fairly strong current is required at the fishing site. A bait swaying during the course causes a predator attack, especially if it also rolls downstream, but not at high speed. This method of rafting or cutting fish resembles the autumn fishing of pike perch on a heavy mormyshka with cut fish. There, too, there is a slow rafting downstream with a simultaneous play of mormyshka, which consists in slowly moving the bait at the bottom and tapping on the bottom soil. Here it is necessary to select the weight of the sinker so that it does not lie on the bottom with a dead weight, but floats downstream with a leash flying above and a bait on the hook.
There is a noticeable analogy with the diverting lead, which is often the most successful in spinning fishing (about catching zander on the diverting lead). But donors often catch spinningists by the number of predators caught. And the reason for this performance is the most commonplace - the use of several gear, exhibited in catchy places.
How to plant live bait
Since donks are installed in places with a moderate and strong course, live bait is planted over the lip . When you put the fish behind the back, it will spin on the stream, like a plane propeller, and spin the fishing line. If the bottom in the chosen place is sandy, then you can be sure that somewhere on the shallow coastal spit there is a gudgeon. It is also a very good bait for pike perch and, unlike bleak and tops, gudgeon is much more tenacious and quicker on the hook . In addition, its distinctive positive feature is the desire of the fish to stay at the bottom. Bleeding, roasting, top is always trying to rise into the upper layers of the water, which often leads to tangling of the leash and tackle.
An unpleasant feature of donkey
There is a rather unpleasant feature of the baitfish casting: often with vigorous casting, baitfish and especially bleak breaks off the hook and falls into the water. Torn lips crocheted by a jerk.
But there is one effective technique that keeps the bait fish on the hook.
Before casting it is necessary to put the fish on the flat side of the sinker and cast it like a stone. True, casting with this method is not very distant, but it is sometimes not required when the pit with the zander living in it is literally under your feet, that is, under the cliff of the coast where the gears are installed.
Pike perch on a donk "bottle"
The option of a thrower is also used, which can be called the simplest analogue of an inertialess coil. When using this option, the donkeys of the fishing line do not stack before ringing onto the shore, but are wound on an empty plastic bottle or, even better, on a piece of PVC pipe. Before casting, the tube goes to the side of the river, a throw follows and the fishing line is discarded from the pipe, as if from a spool of an inertia-free reel (more about this fishing method).
