When spring ide begins Reasons for stopping the spring course. How do I catch ide in spring on steamed peas (tackle, bait).
Spring ide fishing begins early, often in early April, more often in the middle of this month. As in the catching of most spring fish that climb spawning along the tributaries of large rivers, this fishing is usually of short duration. Of course, it is such in a particular place where the bulk of the fish passes during this period. You can catch it in a couple of days, as it should, and already on the fourth day, just look in vain at the gatehouse of the donok or at the quivertypes of feeders. But if you go upstream for several kilometers, and quickly, then you can extend the pleasure of fishing. Fish can climb to a new fishing spot. True, there are some obstacles that can interfere with such a tempting plan. Like roach-roach, in the spring course of the ide there is no exact schedule in the upstream climb. Today, fish can rise, and tomorrow - get up for a couple of days in one place. And even for five days such a parking will last.
What is the reason for stopping the spring ide run ">
On the forest river Bolshoi Kundysh, which, despite the name, is quite small, we usually caught ide on steamed peas. The river in the area of the village of Krasny Most is no more than twenty meters wide, somewhere wider, and somewhere even narrower, and therefore of the gear we usually had simple and functional donks. At first, in Soviet times, long four-five-knee bamboo rods with reels were used, on which the main fishing line was wound. The gear, of course, was bulky. The bamboo rods were replaced by Chinese fiberglass telescopic rods. They were a little lighter than bamboo rods, but now they were equipped with reels, which greatly simplified fishing. Then in service appeared carbon fiber gear. And this already made it easier by an order of magnitude when for days one had to grab onto a heavy "glass" rod, hook, raise, cast. After fishing, my hand hurt, as after hard work.
Since, as has already been said, the river is not wide, then snacks and later feeders were not used. The tackle was and is a long fishing rod with a reel, on top of which there is a ringing little bell or now a feeder bell. The rod is placed on stands. The sinker is most often a flattened pear-shaped sinker weighing about 20-25 grams or a flattened bullet. The sinker is used in sliding mode, that is, it moves freely on the main fishing line. The silicone ball-chipper serves as a limiter of its stroke, below it is a swivel and a leash with a hook, less often - two leashes, one longer and the other shorter. The thickness of the main fishing line is 0.25 mm, and the diameter of the leash is 0.18 mm. Modern monofilament fishing line 0.18 mm withstands jerking ide for a kilo and more if you do not rush things. Therefore, with clear water, ide gear is better to make miniature. This is a very careful fish.
The nozzle is steamed or canned peas, better - "Bonduelle". To make peas, you need to soak it in water for the night, and then soar in an aluminum saucepan for about an hour. Steamed peas should be relatively soft, but so that the skin does not burst. Usually we plant one pea, and two large ones on large fish.
The bait in our time is the ready-made mixture for ide and other “white” fish, usually for cold water. And the filler is “salapinskaya” porridge from barley, millet, corn and barley groats with the addition of oil and vanillin. You can hang a light feeder on the fishing line. This will already be the prototype of the feeder.
