Winter night bream fishing in a tent

In the winter, fishing for bream is often the most successful at night fishing. Especially often such productive fishing falls at the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Of course, the most gambling and prey fishing for bream happens on the last ice, but I would not want to recommend such fishing, because, despite the good bite of the “white” fish, during this period there is a real danger of being under the ice. At the end of March-April, on the Volga and other large rivers along the course, fairings often open unexpectedly and not where you are waiting. In addition, morning frost often draws such gullies and covers the blackness of the abyss under them with a layer of hoarfrost. And then only a thin layer of ice crust separates the careless fisherman from trouble, especially if he is alone on ice. Swam, we know ...

During the winter, when the ice is still thick, it is also quite successful fishing for bream, especially in the thaw. And an important success factor can be called a comfortable overnight stay in a tent, where a sleeping bag will provide an opportunity to sleep well and catch already without pecking. Better eat the bream ...

Features of winter night bream fishing

Night fishing has its own peculiarities and completely unique impressions, when a boiled kettle whistles and blows steam behind its back, smells of smoke and crackles of wood in a miniature stove. Quiet music comes from the receiver, the soft cozy light of the lamp lies on the floor, where the drilled holes are fishing rods. Silence ... But on one of the fishing rods, a soft sensitive nod flinched slightly, and then slowly rose up. Bream bite! ..

But all these positive aspects are impossible without some preparatory work. And this first of all includes finding a place promising for fishing and feeding it, preferably within a few days. Then success is guaranteed, however, there are moments that can nullify all efforts, and the fish will leave the well. There are several possible reasons. The first and most common - the found place will be flooded and lighted by negligent fishermen. As they say, they themselves will not be caught, and they will spoil the fishing. Another common reason is overfeeding the fish and spoiling the bait at the bottom, when the water already becomes unpleasant in smell and unsuitable for fish to be in it. In addition, the bait may be saturated with too sweet biscuit or fruit components, which are usually used in the summer. And then she will not lure the bream, but rather, scare away. Sometimes it is better to feed with ordinary cereals with fish oil and bone meal than bait, even if branded, but too aromatic.

An objective factor in the termination of biting is a change in weather. But this does not mean that when the atmospheric pressure changes, the fish refuses to eat. It can simply change the horizon in the water column. This is especially true for a bream's relative, the blue bream, which can rise to the very surface of the ice and stay there in large packs. But the bream can rise from the bottom and rise higher, where it needs to be caught.

Another reason for the bad biting can be called the escape of the bream from the usual, and seemingly permanent habitats for a banal reason - he ate all the supplies of toothless, pearl barley and other bivalves and now there are only placers of empty shells left at this place.

The initial choice of a place for catching bream at night is made according to the results of daytime fishing, that is, where the fish pecked, there it is necessary to respect it. Usually, several campsites are made for camping and fishing. But their location is always chosen not far from each other, while the features of the place should be different. No one can guarantee that bream will be taken only at the same places. There should be a difference in depth and topography. The same applies to additional holes that are drilled outside the tent. They are needed to change the place when the biting in the tent ceases, and even purely for a walk under the dazzlingly bright starry sky, from where light shines on the ice with a full pale moon. You can’t sit in a tent all the time, even in warmth and comfort.

There come periods when the fish stops taking everywhere, probably just resting. In this case, the angler does not hurt to relax. Once you need to sleep ... In this case, you can put a rug on the ice and climb into a sleeping bag.
